Parent-Teacher Interviews: November 20 from 5:00pm-8:00pm:

The format for Thursday evening will be open to all parents (Drop-in format). As you arrive in the gymnasium #1,  you will be invited to sign up for a specific time slot to see individual teachers to discuss your child’s progress. The sign-up sheets will be located on the gym wall behind each teacher. Please note that each time slot is 10 minutes  in length. Students are encouraged to attend with their parents.

SILENT AUCTION: On Thursday evening, while you are waiting, visit our Silent Auction in the gymnasium #2. This is a major fundraiser for our school as all proceeds help fund the grade 7 Quebec City trip in May. Come and bid on the many items from restaurants, shops, and other businesses in our area. Thank you in advance for your generosity!

November 21 from 9:00am-11:00am: Friday morning has been reserved for high priority needs and therefore, we have scheduled meetings ahead of time for particular students. The parents of these students have been notified through an invitation inside the progress report envelope sent home on November 13.

Update - October 22, 2014

A sincere THANK YOU to all staff members, students and parents who helped manage this difficult day. We are proud of the way everyone handled this stressful situation.
The OCDSB Communications Department sent out communication tips for parents and teachers, as children may be confused by what they have heard about what has happened in our city today (Posted under "Important Information " on this website). It is important to emphasize that Ottawa is a safe community and that home and schools are also safe.

Update - October 20, 2014

Our second newsletter of the year is now available online. In order to preserve our environment, only parents who requested a paper copy were sent one via their child.

Also remember to follow Glashan on Twitter @glashanleads.

It's not too late to order milk and pizza for next week - we thank you in advance for supporting these two important fundraising initiatives for our school!

We are presently creating our first school mural which will embellish the north side of our school (on Arlington St.)
